When my friend Tyler Dunning read my his short essay about death and the National Park system, I knew it was a story I had to tell. Using the Tylers well written words we filmed, collected visuals to craft this story into a tale of how nature has to power to heal. Also, we both love packing up car, sleeping on the ground and going to the beautiful National Parks of America. This project was a great excuse for us to do just that.
This short documentary was played at MountFilm Festival, Port Townsend Film Festival, EarthxFilm, and Lyons Film Festival where it won Best Short. It was also selected as Short of the Week on shortoftheweek.com, and written about on Outsideonline.com and Backpacker.com.

As one of the lead creatives at Invisible Children I was tasked with making the Forth Estate Confrence unforgettable and inspiring for the participants. We knew we would have great media to share we just wanted to push the way we could present the stories and have the stage designed. What we came up with was a 43 foot wide project mapping screen that hung center stage. In the center of it was a normal projection screen but on the outsides where protruding shapes and surfaces for us to expand beyond the normal 16:9 media surface.
